PFRAD is an action oriented organisation that seeks to carry out intensive research in the domain of development and thereby work upon the inputs so derived. Strategically PFRAD combines ‘Top-down’ and ‘Bottom-up’ approach to development by synergising research and action and thus help towards eradication of discontents of development.

PFRAD has been established in 2019 with the aim of carrying intensive researches to address the issues of socio-economic inequality and inequity. We carry out research at the grassroots level and suggest measures that have a bearing on the formulation of various policies of the government. We work in synergy with experts of different domains, academicians, bureaucrats, administrators, representatives of governments and people at the grassroots level. We thus would create a pool of knowledge which can readily be applied in terms of policy measures. It would also foster awareness about sustainable development and thus contribute towards attainment of socio-economic inclusion and sustainable development goals.
